• Well known and highly appreciated by perfumers, patchouli essential oil is a precious and rather costly oil.
• The fermentation of the fresh plant (which has very little scent on its own) releases aromatic compounds such as patchoulol, which give it that distinctive smell.
• It is used by many perfumers as a base note (the deepest, most lingering note — the one that remains once the heart and top notes have faded) in many masculine and feminine fragrances.

🛀 Patchouli Bath Oil

• Prepare a bath oil with 50 ml of olive oil, 50 ml of calophyllum vegetable oil, 30 drops of lavandin essential oil, 20 drops of patchouli essential oil, 30 drops of lemon essential oil, and 15 drops of Virginia cedarwood essential oil.
• Pour 2 tablespoons of this blend under the warm running water just before stepping into the bath.
• Use a maximum of 1 to 2 times per week.
