An evergreen shrub reaching 3 to 6 meters in height, it thrives in mild, sunny climates. ⚠️ Photosensitivity

• Do not apply to skin before sun or UV exposure. Lemon essential oil is strongly photosensitizing due to its furocoumarin content.

⚠️ Skin Application

• Always dilute before applying to skin — maximum 20% in a carrier oil (e.g., 1 drop essential oil to 4 drops carrier oil), or lower depending on the area of application.
• Perform a patch test before first use: dilute one drop in a small amount of carrier oil and apply to the inside of the elbow. Wait at least 24 hours before proceeding.
• Limonene in lemon essential oil oxidizes easily, increasing the risk of skin irritation and sensitization. Store the bottle tightly closed, away from light and heat — preferably refrigerated.
